goodnight, best memes
Naming Your Kids After Things You Love, And This Week's Other Best Memes, Ranked

Here at Digg, we try our best to cover the most important and confounding memes that come across the timeline. But the web is littered with tons of great memes that never quite hit the mainstream and instead just bounce around the weird corners of Twitter or Reddit. Enter our recurring feature, Memes, Ranked.
This week, we've got the real people behind work emails, reactions to a billionaire tempting a watery fate (again) and inappropriate baby names inspired by things we love.
3. Emails vs. reality
The Meme
You know that lady you work with who's so good at putting together slides and spreadsheets? Turns out, she's a lot more than just a competent co-worker — she's a full person with hobbies and interests that go well beyond her labor.
This TikTok trend juxtaposes people's work personas with the rest of their lives, and asks the person scrolling through to consider that who we are at work is just a small portion of our true selves. It's also a fun excuse to wild out some on social media.

2. Another billionaire Titanic voyage
The Meme
Remember last year's OceanGate Titan disaster? When a submersible carrying five passengers to the Titanic wreckage imploded, killing them all?
Well, it turns out that horror story wasn't enough to put rich people off attempting the doomed voyage again — because another billionaire, real estate investor Larry Connor, is reportedly planning his own journey into the deep to prove that the expedition is, in fact, safe now.
Regular people have had it with the ultra-rich embarking on needlessly perilous endeavors just to flaunt their wealth, and wasted no time making jokes about Connor's expedition ending disastrously.

1. Naming your child after something you love
The Meme
People give their kids names for all sorts of reasons. Maybe they're named after a beloved uncle or a favorite character from a novel, but we're familiar with the most common ways names come to be, right? Well, this TikTok meme wants us to "normalize" naming our kids after "something we love." And by that, they mean something entirely inappropriate.

And if you're hungry for more memes, here's the last edition of "The Week's Best Memes,", which featured LeBron James screaming about things he loves, people who have matched each other's freaks and a toddler that really wants to go to the Four Seasons Orlando.
