On May 30, Donald Trump became America's first former president to be convicted of felony crimes. A New York jury found him guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records to cover up a hush-money payment to porn actor Stormy Daniels, and illegally influence the 2016 election.

The verdict in the highly publicized criminal trial came after jurors deliberated for around nine hours, and was loudly celebrated by crowds gathered outside the Manhattan courthouse.

Plenty of people online also relished in seeing justice finally served to Trump β€” here are some of the best reactions so far.

Put this loser in a prison cell for the rest of his pathetic life and let's move on.

If this country used cognitive dissonance as an eliminating trait for voters, literally 90% of republicans would be made ineligible, and rightfully so. Anyone who can hold statements that are connected by an XOR should not be allowed to cast their judgment on anything of societal consequence.

  5. Speaker of the House got it right when he said that the decision to convict Donald J Trump on 34 felony counts was a shameful day for America and it was, but not for the reasons he stated. It was shameful that We the People let this lying grifter act as he did, for as long as he did without forcing him to be held accountable for his egregious actions and that is where the GOP erred, because they believe he did no wrong - and that is truly shameful.
Yesterday was also a day in which the citizens of this great nation can rejoice. We can rejoice because twelve of our fellow citizens stood up in a court of law and affirmed to every single person around the world that the Rule of Law stands firm in this country and proved that no man, regardless of his perceived position or power, is above the law and thatif the break the laws of this land - THEY WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!

All your great nation needs now is to vote him out in November.

Well said, sir. Well said !
ACCOUNTABILITY ! Something this guy has never had to face directly.
It is indeed refreshing and shameful at the same time.

Turns out he was right about the election being rigged. He just got the year wrong. At least now he's 34 for 45.
